Relief Credit and Payment Deferrals for Wildfire-Impacted Customers

In the wake of the devastating wildfires being experienced in various locations around Southern California, Bob Smith MINI would like to offer a small measure of assistance for those affected. In partnership with MINI USA, a $1,000 Relief Credit is available now through March 31, 2025.

Additionally, MINI Financial Services is providing a 90-day deferred payment option on new vehicle purchases. For current MINI customers impacted by the wildfires who have not lost their vehicle, MINI is offering up to two payment deferrals to help ease your financial burden and support your recovery.

Relief Credit for New Vehicle purchases

To help those impacted by the recent wildfires, Bob Smith MINI is offering a $1,000 Relief Credit on eligible new MINI purchases.

Program Requirements

To qualify, you must:

  • Customers must provide proof of total home or vehicle loss from their insurance company.
  • Eligible models include all new MY25 MINI (BMW vehicles and MINI Pre-Owned/CPO vehicles do not qualify)

Payment Deferrals for Existing Customers

If you have an existing MINI Financial Services account and have been impacted by the California wildfires, you can request up to:
  • Two (2) Payment Deferrals for Retail accounts.
  • Two (2) Delayed Payments for Lease accounts.
    Additionally, certain fees and charges may be limited, waived, or suppressed.

90 Days to First Payment on New MINIs

For new MINI purchases, eligible customers can take advantage of a unique 90 Days to First Payment program, giving you up to three months before making your first payment.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, you must:

  • Have a garaging address in California.
  • Take delivery and sign a contract by March 2nd, 2025.
  • Select a New MINI Retail Installment Contract (up to 72 months) using Regional or Sales Support programs.
  • Meet MINI Financial Services’ credit tier requirements (Ultra, Super Elite, Elite, or Standard).
Important Details
  • This offer is valid for new MINIs only and does not apply to Select, OwnersChoice, Lease, or Pre-Pay contracts.
  • Standard credit guidelines still apply.
  • Interest accrues during the 90-day period.
  • To maintain eligibility and avoid dealer chargeback, customers must make three separate and full payments after the initial 90-day period.
