    "My salesman was Scotty Bem. My experience with him was exceptional!!! He's incredibly kind and professional! I initially test drove a convertible basic mini and wasn't thrilled with the ride. I was about to leave when Scotty suggested I test drive the "step up". Coming from a fully loaded Lexus I wanted something similar in luxury. The moment I went out in the "S" I could feel the difference. I also loved the Harmon Karden sound system and all the other fun things the car offered. I knew instantly this was my car! Scotty quickly, and completely without pressure, prepared the car, hand delivered me warmly to financing and made the whole experience SENSATIONAL!!     "I would HIGHLY recommend that any future Mini Owners NOT to take a night time delivery. Had it been light out, I might have noticed the 2" Slash in the Leather Dash, 1" Scratch on the Navigation Screen, Sharpie Marking within the Emergency Break Housing or maybe even notice that the Wheel Air Caps were all missing. Also, as I was only financing the minimum amount, that should have been taken into consideration.     "This was the first time I had leased a new vehicle on my own (with the support of my roommate). Scotty Bem made the entire process very easy and hassle free. He took the time to explain all the options available to me as I am on a very restricted budget. Scotty showed me three different types of vehicles all with in my price range. Scotty was very patient as he explained the differences with in each model and was always willing to answer any questions I had. During the test drive, Scotty explained to me all the great features Mini Cooper could offer. While waiting on the final sales decisions, Scotty continued to inform me of all the great benefits of leasing a Mini Cooper. This was the best car experience I have ever had! I was immediately at ease when entering the dealership and felt no pressure or ever felt hassled (the stereotypical car dealership experience).     "Mini Cooper had a big test drive promotion on the new 2012 Mini's including the new sport coupes back in October 2011. A friend and I made reservations on line through Mini USA to come to Bob Smith and test drive the models of our indicated choice, a Sport Coupe S and Works Coupe S choice. We made our reservations for 9am on the advertised Bob Smith Demo Day Saturday - expecting a Mini USA factory big rig to be at Bob Smith with all the cars.... We arrived at the appointed 9am time for out test drive and there were no sales people in the Bob Smith department, no selection of cars to test drive, and all reservations had been lost. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours to be able to take a very short 5 minute drive in the only available Sport Coupe S, with no Works S models available to compare and possibly buy. Meanwhile, my friend had grown impatient and left at 9:30 waiting 30 minutes.     "This is very difficult for me I love this dealership and the have concerned skilled service personnel. I can not begin to explain how much Susan Bolger helped me to deal with a very difficult situtation with my vehicle between Her and Christine if they had not been a part of the Bob Smiths team I would have left this dealership with a horrible owner experience. Susan went tio bat fir me with Mini Engineers and was honest in her dealings. This evaluation will seem harch due to very poor QA and QI during Technian repairs.     "we dropped off the car to have a left rear tire repaired and have a service engine light reset. We were informed that our rear wheel was bent and would need to be replaced. Total cost for that service was over $1000. On driving the car home, it did not drive well. The next morning the right front tire was completely flat and the car was undrivable - we were informed that the valve on the tire was defective or missing. We had to have the car towed to the dealership where we had to pay for another tire! This tire was fine when we dropped off the car. Although we did not have to pay the full price for a new tire, I feel as though an error at dealership resulting in the tire getting flat and being damaged. In fact, the day before we brought the car in the first time, we had all the tires checked and the only one with a problme was the rear tire. I feel as though we paid for your mistake. Our service advisor was a nice person and dealt with us well but we, as customers, have no way of knowing what exactly took place inside your shop that resulted in our front tire issue, yet we have to pay no matter what. When I called to make the appointment, to my surprise the service representative on the phone asked if I would need a loaner car until my car was ready for pick-up. Also, the Mini foreman, Mike,was very knowledgeable about the 2012 Mini Cooper Model. He explained to my husband and me the problem concerning the over-sensitive car alarm (which was fixed promptly) and showed us how to disconnect the device temporarily if the problem persisted. Also, the Bob Smith sign that was put on the rear window, when covered with rain, made it impossible to see anything out the back. I had to take it off.
